Twins

So, yesterday I swear I was up till 3 AM, but I wasn't on the computer. I was enjoying being able to read clearly without having to go over it a few times. Of course, I read the completely wrong book. It's called Twins, by Margaret Cooney. She actually wrote The Girl on the Milk Carton as well, and that was a wonderful story. But Twins, it was something else. It was about a girl who loves her sister, but when her sister dies she takes her place in life because she thinks that her sister (Madrigal)'s life is so much better. Then she finds out that her sister was a psychopath.
Not the best middle-of-the-night book. I had to escort the book downstairs so nobody could hurt me. Ha! I don't know why I care so much.
I feel like making a pound cake, but I don't know if we have enough eggs. It's called a pound cake (for those of you who don't know) because there is an even pound each of butter, eggs, sugar, and flour. Yummy! But I think a bit of vanilla would make it better, and maybe even some milk.
Jacob will never forgive me for switching to blogger! I'm sorry. For heaven's sakes, this actually is better. It has a better format.
I'm off to see what 'Joy of Cooking' has to say about pound cakes.
Oh, and I added a gajillion awesome backgrounds! And I made one for my mommy, oh how sweet. It looks like this picture next door (I think) and it's really funny. This way, mom will have to buy me new reading glasses that actually fit right.
