New E-mail Service
Well, dad was nice enough to switch e-mail services without telling me, so I lose all my contacts. Isn't that great. I don't remember Ben (my cousin)'s, and of course I can't remember Shani's, and all of my old e-mails are gone. Roar.
School starts in less than a week, and I'm looking forward to it for some reason. It'll give me something to do even if it cuts short my visit to Olympia. I have been having a good time here, for sure, no matter how forgetful my gumma can be, and no matter how many times she asks, "So, what grade are you going into?" At least she's nice, and she remembers most things. Like my name. Ha, ha. She even remembers my birthday!
I have made two discoveries. Actually, three. One: Soy ice cream is better than dairy ice cream. Two: You can put plain cocoa onto vanilla ice cream, and you have good chocolate ice cream. Three: My second cousin, was pen pals with J.K. Rowling! His name was Zach, he was my good cousin Josh's little brother. He died three years after Josh's dad did. His dad died when Josh was 10 and his brother when he was 13. I didn't get to meet Zach, but you'd never guess there was any tragedy in the family if you met Josh. He's so funny, even if he abandoned us this summer so he could be a counselor at a summer camp in Georgia.
I just think that's cool. We've got a connection to J.K. Rowling. Yay for us.
My grandma has the funniest card that we gave her two days after my bat mitzvah (that is her birthday). It says, "Hipy papy bthuthdth thuthda bthuthdy." Can anybody translate that? I have no idea what it means. But it's funny. I guess.
I get Ms Silver for homeroom next year again! Isn't that wonderful? I love her, and she favors 8th grade. Bwahahahaha. I shall take over the school!
Ben, did your brother skip over to the math class that I'm in? He's always seemed extreme in math. And I mean extreme. And in science. It's kinda scary, actually. I just figure, anybody that good at math shouldn't have to take it at this school. Whatever. I'll still win treasurer. He still has another year to do it. But I don't.
Could somebody outline the 'talk' Ms Silver gives to the new 8th graders? I'm sure there is one. I just don't know what it is. Is it boring? Should I fall sick?
My parents and siblings are sick. I just missed it; they got it two days after I left. Oh, I'll be back Saturday and I probably won't be able to squeeze in emergency D&D. But I have missed everybody. What's the status on Jennifer's return? Please?
Gumma is being so funny! She is sleeping, but every ten minutes or so she gets up, says "that was a nice sleep" and goes back to sleep again. It's cute. She's so nice! And she's so beautiful. I love her like mad. She lets me play with her wrinkles!
Miles finally left, after his dad was yelled at by my mom's sister about how he should get counseling because he doesn't know how to raise a family.
In all happiness, I get to see my cousin Rosie in Annie! I love that musical.
Can't wait to see everybody!

PS - this is a bad keyboards. if spacings and spellings are off, it's because of the keyboard, not me. Meh.
