In Washington

Hey, all.

I'm in Washington now, and I've gotten to see everybody including the luck of getting to see my great-uncle Howard! I really love him, he's funny. But I only got to see him for two hours or so.

My cousin Rosie is WONDERFUL and I love her!!! We're having such fun, and spent a gajillion dollars on junk, plus I got my gifts for everybody, and I didn't forget anybody this time.

G'ma is fun, much different than gramma Renia. She's so funny!

Miles is ANNOYING to DEATH. He's obsessed with wrestling, cars, tattoos and macho stuff like that. He wants two tattoos and five piercings, and a creepy macho hairstyle. That just bugs me beyond being bugged. It's sooo annoying!

I went to the farmer's market and bought Rosie a cookie, and I'll probably buy daddy a big huge onion. Or maybe the 3X heat salsa they're selling. All for dad; he likes stuff like that. My aunt Liza's band played, they're called Red Brown and the TuneWranglers. They're really funny, they play country music and 'Lize is good as ever on her fiddle. She has my great grandpa's old one, I would love to have it.

Leo likes to hit me, so I avoid him as much as I can. Gina is sweet, but when she's 'round Leo she is a killing machine. Ahh! Run!

Mile's and Gina's little sister Emme, who is 2, finally figured out who I am with my short hair cut, and she's gone back to her sweetly pathetic 'errachewgo?' whenever I'm not in the room. She is so cute, I want to EAT her!

Gamma (my new name for g'ma Ruby) is the only adult that will let us use her computer. Nobody trusts me with theirs no matter what my 'credentials' are, even if they aren't really credentials. Still. Gamma's so much fun, and she didn't yell when Ro and I ate an entire package of gummibears ourselves and feeds us what she can, except she's *cough* VEGAN so she has NOTHING to eat in her house. She even has sugar that hasn't been finished with it's processing! I suppose that's how everybody should live, but I'm not up to it. Plus, I have a Jewish mama! I can't just stop eating the way gamma does!

I've been sleeping in later than I have for months, but it's sad it'll all have to come to an end in 'round 9 days. We have a half day on the first day of school which is on a monday of all weird days, so I'll probably have to get a ride home or maybe go over to Sarah's or something. Or maybe I can be dropped off at home by Jared or Jake or Shauna, whose sister just graduated, leaving me in a math class of *tear* boys. And not normal, nice boys. Isaac, Dor, Zach, and Noah. Help meeee!

Ro is in Annie, the play, and I get to see her! She's so wonderful at singing. I wish I could the way she can. She has a broadway voice. She's one of the orphans; the girl who plays Annie I met at the farmer's market. She is EIGHT years old and has bright red hair. It's a funny coincidence, actually.

My aunt Kitty went to follow Liza's band on their worldwide tour of three states. Wow! I'm a jinx, but at least I get to see them one more time before I go home.

I don't get to see Ro's buddies, they're all in New York and they get to see Wicked. I'm so jealous!

Ben! You're probably home by now; REPLY! How was the trip...where is my egg roll? How's the family? Are you all still in one piece? Did you eat enough? Is it pretty there? Polluted? Did you get a movie contract or something and you'll never come to Austin again? WELL???

I'll be home in 'round a week.

Talk to everybody 'round!

-Rachel
